Lil is my neice. Doug is my amazing brother. And after this email Doug sent me, I want to live on Planet Easter: 

Lil’s 1st grade class is studying the planets/solar system in school.

The assignment was to build a planet with your parents help. The

students were instructed to NOT pick a real planet, but to design one

around any theme they wanted.

Lil chose Easter (primarily so she could use cute bunnies, duckies,

butterflies etc.) I’m not sure how this relates to teaching students

about the solar system but what do I know.

It was a lot of fun building this with Lil! We tried to be creative &

use things we had around the house and in our art/craft box.
